Every day, 58 women in the UK receive a life-changing gynaecological cancer diagnosis. Of them, 21 won’t survive. It’s time we changed those stats.
As September marks Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, ME+EM is proud to partner with the Lady Garden Foundation to raise awareness and funding for gynaecological health.
Founded in 2014, The Lady Garden Foundation is a national charity which aims to raise funds to extend and improve gynaecological health; and arm women and girls with the knowledge they need to break down these taboos. So far,The Lady Garden Foundation has raised over £1.6m for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Whilst maintaining a commitment to the prevention of all five gynaecological cancers The Lady Garden Foundation will also seek to shine a light on a woman's full Lady Garden journey. The charity pledges to raise funds for both gynaecological cancer and additional causes from menstruation to menopause.
All profits from the sale of our exclusive Organic Cotton Lady Garden Graphic Tee will be donated to the foundation and will go towards cutting-edge studies and revolutionising the treatments for the 5 gynaecological cancers.

ME+EM Founder Clare Hornby says,
“As the founder of a brand dedicated to imbuing women with confidence, as a mother to two daughters, and as a daughter myself, encouraging women to talk openly, be informed and feel confident in their bodies is a cause that is particularly close to my heart. I hope that with this collaboration we can start conversations, encourage confidence and make a change.”
Lady Garden Foundation Co-Founder Jenny Halpern Price says,
“1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and for the 58 women daily 36% won’t survive. This sobering statistic is why The Lady Garden Foundation exists - it's why we're dedicated to fundraising vital research and breaking the taboo about talking about your vagina and gynae health. Join us this Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month and make a real difference...Together we can have an impact on the lives of thousands of women."
