My Wardrobe Diary
I’m all about the layering at the moment. The weather seems to go from torrential rain to cloudless blue sky at the drop of a hat, so I’m still utilizing my favourite knitwear and jackets. Here’s a breakdown of all the looks I’ve put together recently.
Colour pop cord

- Perfect Fit Raw Edge Tee
- Cord Wide-Leg Transformer Trouser + Belt
- Maddy Patent Crossbody Bag
These wide-leg trousers are just so right for now. The cord is supersoft and fluid, so they feel like an elevated lounge pant. The colour is obviously bold, so I’ve toned it down with a plain white tee and our Mixed Media Washed Crop Cargo Jacket. Swapping the tee for shirt makes it ready for important work calls.

Cotton co-ords
This cotton co-ord does on-to-off-duty seamlessly. The tee has a really clean, contemporary cut that still feels smart for work. The trouser is just as comfortable for wearing on the sofa as at a desk, so that cuts out any need to change when I’m done with work. I layered up with our Lofty Cashmere Box Jumper for warmth.

Pyjama pants
This trouser feels like a luxe pyjama pant: wide, fluid, silky-soft and totally crease-free. It’s quite a statement print, so keep it pared back with a white tee. This Perfect Fit Raw Edge Tee has fraying along the seams which acts as a foil to the polished trouser. A cropped jacket works with the height of the trouser to keep everything in proportion.

Work call to dog walk

The fantastic thing about a cropped jean is that it means no dragging hems, so I can go straight from work call to dog walk without having to change. The wide cut feels relaxed for wearing around the house, too. I’ve paired the Laser Side Stripe Wide-Leg Jean with our lightweight Cotton Frill Cuff Blouse, layering up with the Lofty Cashmere Box Jumper and Italian Tailored Check Blazer so that I look smart on top for video calls.

Accessorising
I love the little frill detail on the sleeve of this dress; it’s what makes an otherwise casual style feel more special. It also makes it easy to dress up: just add our Fringe Stripe Crop Jacket and Grace bag in black and you look like you’ve made an effort when you really haven’t.

Layering jumpsuits
I really like layering a t-shirt underneath a jumpsuit: not only is it a bit warmer, the hint of something underneath also gives the jumpsuit added interest. I layered my navy Feminine Cargo Jumpsuit over a Meadow Print Tee, leaving the buttons undone so that you can just see the floral motif.

The go-with-everything jacket
As you can tell, I’m obsessed with this khaki jacket. It just goes with everything and instantly adds cool. As with trousers, the cropped length sits just at the right point on the waist of this maxi dress to create a flattering silhouette.
