Welcome to the neighbourhood | King’s Road

King’s Road is one of London’s most iconic addresses. Galleries sit next to independent shops with their own rich heritage and luxury boutiques nestle up to delectable restaurants. With so much to take in, we’ve edited our favourite spots for whiling away the hours.

Where to eat

+Begin with breakfast at one of our favourite spots: Bluebird on King’s Road or Granger & Co on Pavilion Road for their poached eggs and jasmine tea smoked salmon.

+Fortify yourself with lunch at Vardo on Duke of York Square. The circular building surrounded by tall windows is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. On Saturdays, the square also hosts the Fine Food Market, where you can pick up artisanal and locally produced treats for the weekend.

+Head to Claude Bosi at Bibendum for an exquisite dinner, accompanied by a cocktail or two.

Where to shop

+Stroll down King’s Road to the ME+EM store to browse new arrivals or enjoy your own personal styling session with one of our experts. Each of our stylists is well versed in fit, colour and outfit building, and so can help you curate the ultimate wardrobe of forever essentials.

+A visit to John Sandoe Books is essential. One of London’s most beloved independent bookshops, it is housed in an eighteenth century building with books piled up on every available surface and colourful window boxes outside that make it easy to spot.

+Round off the day with a visit The Conrad Shop’s iconic flagship store in Michelin House.

Where to unwind

+Escape the city in Chelsea Physic Garden, London’s oldest botanical garden. Perched on the Thames, it’s the perfect place to stroll on a sunny summer day.

+Head to Hari's, which has been seeing to the coiffures of Chelsea since 1976 and is a personal favourite of ME+EM Founder Clare Hornby.
