This week I popped into our Ledbury Road store to style a few looks from our new collection. In true British style, the weather can’t seem to decide what it’s doing so for me, it’s all about layering. Clashing textures, considering colours and using feminine details to elevate a look.
 


The Leg-Elongating Jean

The skinny jean is back and this version seems to add about 6 inches to my legs (I have short legs). It’s super high-rise and the hem has a very clever zip hem that you can wear open or closed that just makes your legs look endless. Styling it with this recycled fabric Pleat Detail Blouse feels very classic chic. If I’m heading to an event, I always think about how I’m getting there and layer up accordingly: our Houndstooth Tweed Blazer Shearling Longline Gilet, and Grace Houndstooth Mini Bag.

The Statement Knit

This look is all about cosy cool. Brightly coloured jumpers like our Merino Cashmere Chevron Cable Jumper are so uplifting, especially on grey winter days. I’ve styled it here with our Puppy Tooth Barrel-Leg Trouser, cuffs turned up so that it sits neatly with these high top trainers.

 
The Ultimate Luxury Cashmere Jumper

It says it all in the name: this substantial cashmere jumper is unbelievably soft and the cable knit detailing gives it a truly timeless feel. Layer it up with the matching Merino Cashmere Cable Scarf and our Borrowed From The Boys Blazer. I’m also obsessed with this Barrel-Leg Track Pant - the wool-blend fabric is so beautiful and drapey, warm without being bulky.

 
The Floral Maxi Dress

This Vibrant Flower Field Maxi Dress is such a versatile number. I’ve dressed it down here with our Chunky Chelsea Boot and Leather Cropped Bomber Jacket for day, but for evening it will look incredible with chunky black heels, or just smart flats if you’re entertaining at home.

 
The Satin Jogger

I have been wearing this Full Length High Shine Satin Jogger religiously. The fabric is crease-free so I know I can wear it on long work days when I’m running from one meeting to another and still look polished. When styling, look to clash textures - it instantly makes an outfit look super luxe. The Satin Dress

Clashing textures is a shortcut to elevated style. I’ve layered our Merino Cashmere Speckle Statement Cuff Jumper and Flannel Oversized Blazer over our Shiny Satin Bias Cut Dress + Tie, adding our Chunky Chelsea Boot to keep the look grounded for day. Obviously come evening, you can delayer down to the dress and look event-ready.

Our Merino Cashmere Speckle Statement Cuff Jumper perfectly matches the Italian Speckle Relaxed Straight-Leg Trouser. The navy fabric of both pieces features colourful flecks for each styling with winter’s statement pieces, like this orange knit. I always like to layer up a tailored blazer over the top of a look like this to add structure.
