When you’re petite, working full-time and raising a young daughter, you have to really consider the pieces you invest in.We asked Jen, mother to two-year-old daughter Kaia, to style the pieces from the collection that work best for her lifestyle and what she looks for when building her wardrobe.
I work in marketing communications, in quite a corporate environment (normally). As I’m currently working from home, my wardrobe now consists of versatile clothing which allows me to look smart whilst on video calls from home and casual when taking Kaia out and about.
I always look for pieces that are versatile, different textures, classic and long-lasting.I always struggle to find clothes that are the right length and fit well (I’m 5’2”). ME+EM pieces are different; I love how they fit my petite figure. Everything is so well considered.
I normally gravitate towards darker colours – blacks, greys, khakis – but the print of this pleated skirt is gorgeous. And the flat waistband gave me a lovely silhouette and the length was perfect.
