We have particularly exciting news this month as we launch our very first line of trainers, four effortlessly cool styles that have been designed in London and made in Italy using a bespoke last.
We approached designing this collection in the same way we do our clothes: poring over every detail to ensure they are as flattering as possible. You can discover everything that makes them special in my journal, from the thick sole to the embossed message.
As we start to find our way to a new kind of normal, I’m glad for our contributors, both new and returning, who have acted as something of stalwarts in the chaos of this pandemic, kindly sharing their time and expertise on everything from health to literature. We have some exciting new features this month that I hope you’ll enjoy reading in-between conference calls and socially distanced gatherings.

Height LabOver the years we’ve developed our own library of clever tricks, from curved hemlines to cuffs that can be turned up or down, to ensure that our shapes are flattering regardless of how tall you are. To demonstrate, the tallest and shortest members of the ME+EM team styled the collection in what we’re calling the Height Lab to act, a helpful tool if you’re trying to picture how a style might look in real life.
