My Wardrobe DiaryUnsurprisingly Christmas this year will be a much quieter affair. I’ll be spending it at home with the family (and a herd of dogs), so have pulled together some of the looks that will see me through the week.
The go-to hue

This bright blue hue is a sure-fire way to lift spirits – it’s so vibrant and a welcome change from classic winter neutrals. In dress form, it can be dressed up or down to suit the occasion, layered up or worn alone. And, even better, it will still look relevant come summer. Meanwhile, this chunky knit is all I need to refresh classic staples. I can throw it on with everything from jeans and joggers to tailoring.

The versatile blouse

What makes this ivory blouse so appealing is that it’s machine washable, so it doesn’t feel like too much of a style hazard around Christmas supper or red wine.I can pull up the sleeves, which will stay in place thanks to the elasticated cuffs and remove the necktie if I want to layer it under a jumper.

- Italian Velvet Boyfriend Blazer

- Merino Cashmere Boyfriend Cardigan

- Chunky Statement Stitch Jumper

The statement trouser

I’ve been wearing these trousers religiously all season and I don’t envision stopping anytime soon. Teaming it with a bright, bold knit makes the classic houndstooth feel very modern, whilst a festive red velvet blazer layered over a graphic tee is ideal for a more pared-back Christmas Day.

The feminine knit

The sleeves of this speckle knit provide just enough drama, whilst the cashmere fabric feels luxe and cosy for time at home.A great win if you’re planning on some Christmas Zoom calls. You can keep it casual on bottom with Velour Palazzo Pant or dress up with leather trousers and heels.
