This season, that ethos is brought to life by iconic model and nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson and her daughter, politics student Elfie Reigate. The embodiment of effortless British cool, these two women represent what ME+EM has always stood for: intelligent style, now and forever. 

Rosemary, what’s the biggest piece of style advice you’ve passed onto your daughter?

Confidence - feel good in what you wear. I always say avoid fast fashion if you can; I still wear clothes I bought in the 90s because I spent a bit more on them. 
Elfie: Mum has always really encouraged me to wear whatever I want. I think the only time she asked me to change my outfit was one time in mid-January when I wanted to wear a bikini to nursery!

What style inspiration do you draw from each other?

Rosemary: Elfie’s a great thrift shopper! She wears vintage very well.
Elfie: Mum has great clothes, so I make frequent trips to her wardrobe. She gave me a beautiful pair of 90s Stan Smith trainers a couple of years ago which I absolutely love.
 

What’s the best part of working together?

R: Exactly that: hanging out together, but in actual fact it’s work - I love those days. And we have the same work ethic.
E: I love commuting into London with Mum. I live in Bristol and she lives just an hour away, so we have nice car journeys into London together with lovely chats!
